Attention Scholars and Journalists Across the Network:

Calling research scholars across the academic networks to form international adhoc teams of scholars to engage in deep diving to gain a better understanding about the nation and citizens of North Korea by interviewing North Korean Scholars from various disciplines to share:

The Untold Stories. . .

In regards to transparency, there are stories that most likely need to be shared by scholars of this nation that may have yet to circulate other nations. These stories will be solicited to gain an understanding of not only the culture of North Korea, but why the North Koreans believe international relations remain in its state of being and how these relations have impeded or can further impede scholastic peer-collaborations and deterred academic freedom. The North Korean interview efforts should commence during this timeframe, June 15, 2015 - August 15, 2015, to not only make an association with this global initiative, but to form a global talkative piece.

Each adhoc team should consist of diverse and open-minded researchers and to possibly include at least: 1 Female Journalist, 1 Person of Color, 1 Online Doctoral Graduate, 1 Christian, and 1 Buddhist --all from other nations. The titles of each of the research should reflect: “The Untold Story: [fill in the blank]”. The results of finding should be published in an international scholarly journal of choice primarily in English soliciting further analysis and research. When findings are published, the Journalist of a particular team should make audiences aware that the findings have been published by (a) writing and publishing a team approved news recap for news media distribution and (b) notifying this association that the findings have been published for further distribution.

Although each team of researchers will devise their own research and research questions, the following theories/concepts should form the foundation to shape each research project in attempt to achieve cohesiveness:

  • http://maihold.org/mediapool/113/1132142/data/Hasenclever.pdf
  • http://www.uky.edu/~njdewa2/RejProsocJPSP.pdf

This association also asks that the North Korean government and other leaders of this nation allow the adhoc teams of researchers to enter into its nation, cities, and towns to conduct their research related to the Untold Stories initiative. This association also asks that the North Korean government or other leaders announce their willingness to participate in the Untold Stories research projects via its media outlets and share any points of contacts to assist the researchers on their venture.

Each team will be responsible for its own safety, expenses, and how the research is conducted, which should be ethical in nature, and the published findings that result from the research. These projects do not aim to stimulate any confusion or divisions, however, further aim to unite nations to become more efficient learning hubs that will break barriers and open communications to seek cultural awareness and academic collaborations.
