Brief History:
Mrs. Miedzianowski returned to school in 1975 after receiving her diploma in Nursing in 1970 to expand her education and proceeded to achieve her Master’s degree in 1989. As a professor, Mrs. Miedzianowski strives for the ‘ah-ha’! in the student – that moment of ‘I get it’! She firmly believes that learning never ends, and to quote a mentor – learn what you don’t know and teach what you do!

Mrs. Miedzianowski has worked in the health care industry over the past 40+ years and seen many changes in the way the industry has operated. One of the most intriguing areas currently will be the impact of the Supreme Court decision as it relates to health care reform – as this decision will impact the industry for years to come. The other focus of her objectives is to encourage active aging and improve learning for older adults. She is currently pursuing a certification as a Senior Advisor and plans to use this to expand service knowledge and accessibility to this growing population improving quality of life in their community.
